Upcoming events

This is a novice league intended for people with 0-2 years' curling experience. We accept registrations from any number of people - from individuals up to full teams. We will find a team for you or fill out your roster if you don't register with a group of four.

The season comprises of eight games starting October 10th. Games run from 1:30-3:30pm. All games last 2 hours, and are up to six ends of play. Game results are recorded and standings are kept, so you can take part in the fun of competition.

Experienced SCC members are on the ice during the sessions, moving from sheet-to-sheet, providing advice on everything from technical points to strategy. This is a great way to get familiar with the sport, so you can feel more comfortable to join one of our regular evening leagues or bonspiels.

There will be grippers, sliders, and brooms available for use, free of charge.

The cost for all 8 games is $200 per player. This includes a Christmas windup party with food and prizes. Players will not be required to pay until October 1st.
